Advanced Design Features

• Cantilevered Floating Neck: The neck and fingerboard extend cleanly over the upper bout without touching the top. This allows the entire soundboard plate to vibrate without restriction, boosting projection and volume.
• On-the-Fly Adjustability: Equipped with rear adjustment bolts at the heel. Players can tilt the neck angle manually to immediately correct action and string height without shaving down the saddle.
• Integrated Sound Port: Often features an upper-bout sound port acting as a personal audio monitor for the player while driving a deeper bass response.

This is a nice silhouette photograph showing the gaps between the fingerboard in the top and the face of the heel and the end of the guitar. You can see, just under the fingerboard, there are two screws, one on either side of the neck, which act as pivot points and are adjustable, so that the entire neck can be moved in and out to adjust overall intonation. The bolt in the middle is the one that actually sets the angle of the neck, and the one closer to the cap of the heel is a locking screw that locks the neck in place once it is set.
